I too am a huge booster of...Thank you for this, Em. I too am a huge booster of H.M.S. Donovan, since I bought it as an import in 1971. A very difficult album to classify, with its whimsy (as only Donovan can do whimsy) crosswired with liminal spookiness. Today, for some reason, the cover came to mind and I began to wonder about the name Patrick painted thereon. What a score of info you've provided me. Beatles? Playwright.
