The heat had finally broken, thereby making Austin tolerable for the first time in six months, and you had to borrow my coat because you were freezing the whole time. Good times.<br /><br />As for the heat, I get that every day. I'm bicycling to and from work every day, and other than losing about five pounds of water weight, I feel fine. However, every day, I get co-workers who ask if I need a ride "because it's hot out." Pfft. If my first summer in Dallas, for the Great Heatwave of 1980, couldn't kill me, then this pathetic excuse for a summer definitely won't.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
